Important Update: Proposed New EUDR Deadline & Our Commitment to Compliance Solutions
Dear Valued Customers and Partners,
We are reaching out to inform you of a proposed adjustment to the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) deadline, currently set for December 30, 2024 and proposed to be changed to December 30, 2025.
The proposed one-year extension aims to provide stakeholders with additional preparation time to meet the new regulatory requirements. Additionally, the European Commission released a comprehensive Guidance Document that clarifies key terms, outlines operator and trader obligations, and details the due diligence system required to assess and mitigate the risk of deforestation in supply chains.
At Trimble Forestry, we are fully committed to supporting our customers through these regulatory changes. Our team is diligently enhancing our solutions to ensure compliance with the EUDR, leveraging our existing software suite and introducing new tools for a seamless compliance process. Our goal is to enable sustainable and responsible forestry practices, ensuring our customers can meet their compliance obligations efficiently.
We will continue to keep you informed and provide the necessary support to navigate these changes. Thank you for your continued trust in Trimble Forestry.
Warm regards,
The Trimble Forestry Team
